Who We Serve

Our founder Claire works with an organization that provides shelter and care for unaccompanied minors from Central and South American countries through a partnership with the Federal Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR).

Who are unaccompanied minors?

Where We Work

The organization that Claire works for provides a safe, healing environment for each child as they await reunification with family members here in the US.

Our migrant children are housed in residential facilities or foster homes for the duration of the process, during which time they receive medical, legal and psychosocial support, and attend school with bilingual staff who are trained on trauma-informed teaching and social-emotional learning.

Claire’s school offers migrant children the opportunity to develop social-emotional skills to help them begin to heal from trauma, along with a robust, project-based learning curriculum centered in the arts.
